These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RateMe AI iOS application and related services at ratemeapp.online (together the "Service"). Please read carefully. By installing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. Where local law sets a higher minimum (e.g. 16 under GDPR-K in some EU member states, or 14 in certain other jurisdictions), the higher age applies. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement.
If you are under 18 you may use the Service only with parental or legal-guardian permission to the extent your jurisdiction requires it.
The Service uses a device-based identifier; you do not need to provide a name, email, or password. Your subscription, scan history, and referral code are bound to your device. If you delete and reinstall the app, the operating system resets the underlying identifier and a fresh account is created.
You are responsible for the security of the device on which the Service is installed. You may not share, sell, transfer, or sublicense your account.
You may upload and submit for analysis only photographs you own or have a lawful right to process. By uploading any photograph, you represent and warrant that:
You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (US), the UK Online Safety Act, and equivalent foreign legislation.
The Service offers paid subscriptions ("Pro Weekly", "Pro Yearly"). Pricing is shown in the app at point of purchase. All payments are processed by Apple's StoreKit; we never receive your payment details directly.
The Service issues each user a unique invite code. When three (3) different real device-bound users redeem your code, your next scan is unlocked at no charge. Self-referral and circumvention attempts (using simulators, multiple devices belonging to the same person, or scripted accounts) violate these Terms and may result in account termination.
The styling and grooming advice produced by the Service is generated automatically from numeric proportion measurements. The advice does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical, dermatological, or psychological condition. The Service does not recommend specific drugs, ingredients, surgeries, injections, or cosmetic procedures.

We will review and, where appropriate, remove the image and associated data within fifteen (15) business days. We honor valid takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512); send notices to the same email address with subject line "DMCA notice".
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Where we discontinue paid features, we will issue prorated refunds where required by Apple's terms or applicable law.
The Service may not be available, or may be available with reduced features, to residents of jurisdictions whose laws impose specific biometric-information requirements that conflict with our processing model — including but not limited to the State of Illinois (Biometric Information Privacy Act, 740 ILCS 14), the State of Texas (Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act), and the State of Washington (My Health My Data Act). When required, we will display a service-availability notice on first launch in the affected region.
You may terminate your relationship with the Service at any time by deleting the app from your device and (for cleanest data deletion) selecting "Delete Account" in Settings before uninstalling. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms — including, without limitation, repeated upload of content that violates Section 4 or Section 5 — with or without prior notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall RateMe AI, its operators, or its processors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.
The Service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Aesthetic-analysis scores reflect a deterministic numeric formula and do not represent objective rankings or comparisons against other users.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RateMe AI and its operators from any claim, demand, or damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your violation of any law, or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any right of publicity, privacy, or intellectual property.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the app or sent by in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of an updated version constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
